Bought this after returning the nike+ armband (after being told it worked with a 5th gen)......Not much better, but as of now the only 5th gen, out there.
I ended up cutting out the lower part of the plastic so I could use the wheel with any accuracy, and made a slit so I could lock it as well. After spending 30 bucks I shouldn't have to doctor the thing to make it functional. Now I also worry about any rain or other moisture.
I don't have large arms, so size wasn't an issue, but some digging on the under arm is a little bothersome. Can't say it happens everytime though.
I did like the little velcro patch to help keep the cord better organized. Only took 4 runs for me to loose it.

Hi,
I just received this case today, and it fits the nano 5g very snug. The case is made very well, and I think it will fit both big and small sized arms. It allows the nano to accept a receiver such as the Nike + or Timex icontrol, which was the biggest concern for me. BTW the icontrol works on the Nano 5g, My only negative comment is that there's no hole made for the armband where you can lock the Nano. …More59 of 62 people found this useful
