OK but not great...
Written by WC from FORT MYERS

I just bought the New Nano and purchased this armband because it was the only one available in the apple store for the 5th Gen. Nano. It does it job but after working out a few times with it I have noticed that it cuts off blood flow in my arm. Obviously I thought it was to tight at first but even after loosening it up the lack of elasticity in the band seems to be the cause. I have to use the arm band with the band very loose...and that leads to it sliding all over the place during a workout. Also, by no means am I a large person (5'7 and 165 lbs) but the armband seems small. I don't have "guns" and I would find it hard to believe that anyone with larger arms would never be able to use this band.
Summary: Ok but I am defiantly going to return this and grab something new when they finally give us a few more options. …More95 of 102 people found this useful

I was excited to use this armband with my new iPod nano, however, I found that moisture soaked right through to my nano & trying to operate the nano once in the cover was very difficult. A real shame! …More

Not happy with this case. If you sweat a lot it still gets onto the iPod. I am worried about damage to my iPod, I also very very had to adjust the volume through the thick plastic ipod cover. I bought this as it was the only one available for the 5th Generation. Would not buy again!! …More

Couln't use nano with armband, no "manual" >- no hole to cable (I think), so you need to keep armband upsidedown (i hope nano stays inside, and doesn't drop out), …More

This product is HORRIBLE - do not buy.
Written by JM from Charlotte

This product is HORRIBLE for at least 3 reasons. I am tall and of normal build. Tried to wear it while working out (have worn other iPods and MP3 players in armbands/cases while working out with no problems at all).
1) The strap is barely long enough to fit over my biceps (which is normal sized). The strap is not flexible, so it's loose when your arm is extended, tight when your arm is flexed. When doing a normal arm exercise (not even a biceps exercise), with a normal amount of weight, the very first time I tried to wear this, it popped right off my arm (literally).
2) This generation Nano is longer than previous ones. The case is even longer (longer than necessary). It barely even fit on my arm, length-wise, between my elbow and my shoulder (and my arms are somewhat longer than average). Also, it was so long that I had to try to wear it in only one position, otherwise I couldn't really even bend my arm (during the 1 minute it stayed on my arm to begin with).
3) The case has a thin opening at one end but none at the other, and is difficult to get in and out. Thus you can either have access to the earphone plug or the "lock" button, but not both. I actually "solved" this by creating a small hole in the bottom that allowed me to stick the earphone plug through it, allowing me access (sort of) to both ends. (Unfortunately, did this before testing the product out and can't return it now, if I could have to begin with.)
Do NOT buy this product. I wish I hadn't. …More6 of 6 people found this useful

Item is machine washable and covers the entire Nano. I use it all the time and have no need for a separate cover to prevent scratches. …More
