Overview
Power Support’s revolutionary anti-glare film is what every iPhone 3G needs to be equipped with. With state of the art static cling adhesion, the precision cut films are easy to apply, and offer optimal protection for your LCD screen.
Installation instructions
1st Step: Thorough Cleaning
- Clean your iPhone LCD screen with a lint free cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Ensure that all fingerprints and particles have been removed.
- Wipe off any excess glass cleaner so that the screen is completely dry.
2nd Step (Pre-Installation Film): Removing any dust particles that may have fallen onto your screen.
- Remove one half of the white backing of the pre-installation film.
- Without touching the LCD screen directly with your fingers, place the half of the film without the backing onto the LCD screen.
- Without touching the LCD screen, remove the second half of the backing. Apply the rest of the film to the LCD screen. Rub it down thoroughly to ensure that the Pre-Installation film has captured all dust particles.
- Remove the Pre-Installation film by pulling it off by the excess film. Do not touch the LCD Screen.
3rd Step (Anti-Glare Film): Applying the Film
- Without touching the adhesive side of the film, push down on the backing to expose the adhesive side.
- Align the edge of the film with the bottom of the face of the iPhone. You can use the button or ear piece hole as alignment tools. Once a proper alignment is found, apply part of the film.
- Without touching the face of the iPhone or the adhesive side of the film, allow for the rest of the film to apply by peeling off the rest of the backing from underneath the film.
- Cover your finger in a lint-free cloth and rub out any air bubbles.
Note: Power Support’s Protective Screen Films come attached to a basic transparent plastic backing. Whenever applying films, you can touch either side of this transparent backing and the non-adhesive side of the film. However, do not touch the adhesive side of the film because the oils from your skin will compromise the adhesive qualities of the static cling adhesive.

Power Support anti-glare film for iPhone 3G
Great film once again
Written by JW from Lexington

Basically the same thing as the original iPhone version, completely fingerprint-proof, yet it isn't as clear as the Crystal Film version.
I found it incredibly easy to install by wetting the film before applying, and ended up with no air bubbles at all.
The only downside to the film, as some reviewers stated in the Crystal Film, is that it is a little less than 1mm too short on all sides so it doesn't fully cover the front side, but I haven't found that too be too much of an issue yet. …More617 of 677 people found this useful

Power Support anti-glare film for iPhone 3G
Perfect!
Written by SW from PORTLAND

I bought this product for my original iPhone, and a year later it still looks "like new". So I'm happy to report that the new anti-glare film for the iPhone 3G seems to be identical ... Power Support knew better than to tamper with perfection.
The key to using this product is to wipe your iPhone with a clean damp cloth then a clean dry cloth (not a paper towel) before applying the film.
Have two pieces of Scotch tape handy when you apply the film ... one to lift the corner of the film and another to gently remove a stray piece of dust from the iPhone, if necessary.

Power Support anti-glare film for iPhone 3G
Thinking about it? Just get it!
Written by KW from BROOKLYN

I wasn't going to get this film until an Apple employee showed me his iPhone. I got it and it's great.
The film is slightly textured to give good feel.
Absolutely no smudges or fingerprints.
Film is very thick, giving protection piece of mind
Absolutely no loss of touch screen sensitivity.
It does "gray" or dull the screen very very slightly. But, it's only noticeable the first 30 mins after it's on; then, you forget about it. …More566 of 615 people found this useful

I've tried many different brands of protective film for several iPod models and both iPod touch and my iPhone. Some of them were a bit challenging to apply and some didn't last very long whether they started to peel or were easily scratched. Power Support's film is by far the best I have used. I have had it on my iPhone 3GS for a little over six months and it still looks as good as when I first applied it. Touchscreen sensitivity is not affected in the least.( I think Apple uses a capacitive type touchscreen anyway.) I would highly recommend this protective film to anyone wanting to preserve their touchscreen from everyday nicks and scratches. Well worth the few dollars for peace of mind for an investment like iPhone. …More

Power Support anti-glare film for iPhone 3G
Excellent Product
Written by GH from Bothell

This has to be the easiest one to install that I have ever used. Every other product that I have tried has left air bubbles in it, because they use an adhesive, that once laid down, are hard to remove.
With this product, which uses static to stick to the phone, you simply use a piece of scotch tape to lift up the film, and another piece of tape to remove the dust particle, and then lay it back down. …MoreWas this useful?

Should I buy the Crystal Film or Anti-Glare Film for my iPhone 3GS? Or I can apply both onto the iphone?
- Asked by GT from Singapore
- Oct 2, 2009
Best Answer
The anti-glare film does what it's supposed to do, but it also changes the way the screen feels. It is slightly textured, so there's a little more friction under your finger. This texture also makes it practically impossible to put a crystal film, or any film for that matter, over it without having a lot of air bubbles. It also defeats the purpose of having an anti-glare film in the first place. if you're thinking of putting an anti-glare film over a crystal film, the only benefit I see would be the extra thick protection. However, you may notice that the phone won't pick up your gestures as well. The crystal film by itself, if applied correctly, just disappears and you hardly even notice that it's there. The feel is pretty much the same as the glass itself. …More

Anti-Glare is essentially matte. That means it won't reflect the light. Crystal Film is pretty much the same as your iPhone screen - it's shiny/glossy. …More

Well I use cleaner that you use for spectacles and spray some on whilst the film is still on the phone and a lint free cloth, like the one that comes with the phone. It still comes out crystal clear and smear etc... free. …More
