    The music moves with you

With the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Wireless over-ear headphones the music on your iPhone, iPad or iPod can truly roam free. The Bluetooth stays connected up to 9 metres (30 feet) away so you easily move about and keep the music going. Take calls, skip songs and change the volume right from the headphone.

    Feel your music

The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic and R&B producers want you to feel.

    Put the world on mute

Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbours with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

    What batteries?

The built-in rechargeable battery that lasts 12 hours when using wirelessly and 20 hours when you do decide to plug in—so you can be sure your vibe keeps going. With the Battery Fuel Gauge you can see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.

    Lighter, stronger and more comfortable

When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces and no visible screws. It now weighs less than the original and has a lighter, stronger and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.

I'm not a fan boy, I tried (& quickly returned) the original Beats Studio & Beats Executive as they were both garbage from an audio perspective.

Sorry so called audiophiles - I tried B&W P7 & Sennheiser Momentum Over Ears but for my predominantly Hip Hop, R&B & Reggae library the Beats are clearly the superior audio option.

They're far from neutral sounding, the bass is heavy but it's controlled & doesn't distort at high volume. The highs are bright while the mid range is surprisingly clear.
Add to that the wireless function & the 12 - 20 hour rechargeable battery & it was an easy win.

Picked mine up in store in the UK although strangely they're still not on the Apple UK online store?

The 30 foot bluetooth range is great, as I never experienced a dropped connection or static as I moved 15-25 feet away from my iPhone 5s.

I love the black matte finish. It's stylish and fashionable at the same time, yet subtle enough to wear in a corporate environment, if desired. They have a slimmer profile, are lighter and sleeker than the previous generation; thus, you won't feel uncomfortable wearing these as your main everyday headphones.

These have replaced my B&W and Klipsch headphones. I'm a fan! Great purchase.

I was skeptical about Beats after listening to the older "boomy" models but after sampling the Studio Wireless at different Apple I was skeptical about Beats after listening to the older "boomy" models but after sampling the Studio Wireless at different Apple Stores I started to come around. While vacationing in DC, I grabbed these in Matte Black at the Georgetown store.

My wife has Bose QC25s so it was fun to compare the two and fully expected the Bose to win but WOW, in overall sound the Beats sound better. I was shocked! The highs are brighter and the lows are way better. An example is Pittbull and Marc Anthony's "Rain Over Me." During Marc Anthony's main riff a huge bass roll drops from a low to almost sub-sonic in the first two seconds of the song. With the Bose on, the bass fades as it bottoms out. They just can't handle the low frequency. The Beats easily handle the bass but retain all high and mid tones. That's a real accomplishment.

When it comes to noise canceling, the Bose win hands down, no contest. Bose invented ANR, patented the *bleep* out of it and no one comes close. I got to do a side-by-side comparison on the plane ride home from DC and my wife's Bose shamed the Beats in noise cancellation.

I like Bose's battery vs. Beats recharge system too. You can always find a battery. Also, the Beats egg-shaped case is a pain! And why no cord pockets? Come on! The Beats comes with three cords!

The best sound around and I'm glad I bought them but they totally lack effective ANR, the odd-shaped case is a pain to pack in a messenger bag, the lack of cord pockets are minuses. So close Beats! Maybe Jony Ive will help Beats get the details right.

Yes, they were expensive but "I" personally have not had any issue with them. No, I'm not a "Sound Expert" nor do I have any certification in the speaker industry so feel free to take what I think of them as grain of Salt but from an average consumer, these are the best. Bose focuses on crisp and clear vocals which is fine depending on what kind of music you listen to. But I like bass in my music. Some have complained of "fraying" in the soft ear cups but I haven't experienced that yet. Basically, treat the headphones as they were meant to be treated: listening to music, watching videos, etc. and you'll be very happy with them. I already own the Powerbeats 2 Wireless and I use them at the gym all the time and have had no problems with them. Some say they're expensive and they are but you get exactly what you pay for.
