Great volume, bad bass.

I have to admit that it does have good volume, and some of the features on it are great, but there is absolutely no bass and the higher you put the volume, the more popping and cracking you'll get.
It did rate a 3 due to the packaging, the ascetics, and a few of the feature, ie. NFC and charge out, but due to the utter lack of low end and the cracking and popping and it was a no go for me.
I do have a pair of the Beats by Dre ear buds, and I love those, which is why I bought this speaker, but I must admit it was a big let down. If you're ok with the sound and want a super portable speaker, I'd say go for it, but stay away if you're looking for something that sounds at least half way decent. …

Not for serious audiophiles, only for people who want looks.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice looking bit of kit but I'm afraid to say that is all it is. What I was hoping for was a good full bodied sound with a good amount of bass, after all it is £169.99. At this price point I would simply be expecting a lot more. The bass was pretty much none existent and the rest of the frequency ranges were average at best. It makes me wonder if Dr. Dre ever heard the sound coming out of this unit he probably would not put his name to it. I ended up buying the Bose sound dock mini which was light years ahead in terms of sound quality with genuine deep blissful bass and, in my opinion, looks better as well. …

Next, the packaging was creative and fun. And the speaker itself is amazing. The speaker is to small and stylish and the sound is amazing. It is hard to believe how that much sound can come from something so small. Great features and easy to use. Can't wait to take this on my next trip, as it is so easy to pack into a bag with the amazing carrying case it comes with. That was a nice surprise. 100% happy with the product. …
