    doesnt work well with iphoto with iphone 4s

    i just bought it and tried it with iphoto on the iphone 4s and it does not mirror the screen
    the description says:

    i wanted to show the diary on the big screen and it just didnt work i could only see the iphoto logo.

    Inconsistent connection

    Dislike: Inconsistent HMDI connection from an iPhone 4 and worse from an iPad 2. The connection behaves as if there is a short in the cable... very frustrating! Returned the first purchase, because I thought the product may have been returned damaged; however, second purchase behaved exactly the same.     Just the job works perfectly. You will need an HDMI cable to act as your extension cable. Note the extra connection that will let you charge the iPad as you use it to play through your TV etc. Note also that when you connect to your iPad it locks to it, (to stop accidental disconnection) when you want to detach, use the little release button at the side not really visible.Works fine with Youtube, BBC player ITV player, iTunes movies and most useful in my case Netflix movies streamed from the internet. Used with new iPad no problems at all. …More
