Disappointed with Compatibility.
This product is not compatible with the 21.5 inch iMac and any iPads heavier or equally as heavy than the iPad with Retina Display This product is not compatible with the 21.5 inch iMac and any iPads heavier or equally as heavy than the iPad with Retina Display. I have a 21.5 inch iMac and an iPad with Retina display, which TwelveSouth claims these products to be be compatible with the HoverBar, however, when the HoverBar is properly attached to the lowest possible part of the iMac stand, the iMac is weighed down so much by the iPad that it tilts toward the iPad, and the iPad sags down unless in a few particular positions. I was very excited for this product, but I am extremely disappointed. Do not purchase this if you have the same specs as I. I presume this would work well with a 27 inch iMac and an iPad Mini/iPad Air …

The HoverBar does not hold up my iPad 3, but it rather falls over and does not hold it's position as viewed in the pictures here not on the Apple website.
DO NOT BUY, this is looking like the company purchased a cheap lower quality goosenecks to make more money, it is the gooseneck that does not hold up the IPad.
I expect a full refund and more for my wasted time!
I am not happy with this product and it should NOT be offered on the Apple website! …

The metal square on the back of the iPad holders are very weak and do not stand up to the pressure of rotating the iPad 360 degrees while it is mounted to the gooseneck. I have tried the product with two out of the three iPad clips provided and both squares on the rear of the holders become very loose almost instantly as the plastic surrounding the squares gets chewed up, this results in the iPad rotating freely and not staying in the desired orientation. Not what you'd expect for the high price. …

Great for multitasking!
If you purchased an iPad and have found that you don't use it nearly as much as you assumed you would, this is the ticket. I usual If you purchased an iPad and have found that you don't use it nearly as much as you assumed you would, this is the ticket. I usually load TweetDeck or another notifier app up on my iPad and position it beside my main LCD. This way, I'm able to devote my entire LCD to what I'm working on, while notifications come through on the iPad. Or, I load up MLB.tv over there and just keep a game on while I'm working. Super useful for peripheral activities. …
