But after purchase, discovered the app is lame, and will not record more than few minutes. Not ready for prime time. But as one comment stated, "that would be cool". Duh.

Bluetooth connected to my iPhone and iPad with no effort, and as I use both I found that all my data is on both. No effort on my part, they keep both up to date. This has been as effortless a purchase as I would want. The Oximeter is very well built and looks very good. The readout is very visible and instant

It's also been super handy to check my sons oxygen levels, to see if he needs an asthma treatment. Very pleased with this product, though I wouldn't recommend letting your toddler get ahold of it, as it is a little on the fragile side.

I use this for freedive training. and comes in very handy, especially the lit display and being able to record the data on iPhone. I use this for freedive training. and comes in very handy, especially the lit display and being able to record the data on iPhone.
I also develop iOS applications and have developed my own freedive training application. It would be very handy to have an SDK and incorporate the device but this is not available currently.

Bluetooth connection inconsistent very unreliable. Battery Life is poor. Measurements non-repeatable and not dependable. Have to make several readings in a session too get a value that reasonably correct and when battery is low the readings are wildly incorrect.. Software nothing more than a glorified spreadsheet entry program. I wind up taking the readings and transcribing them to an independent health tracking program. Better off with a tester that is independent does not talk to an IPhone or IPad. It would appear that Apple only sells and endorses this product because it communicate with its equipment. Apple should be embarrassed to sell and endorse this product. Tech support gives canned answers and no help - more interested in closing the trouble ticket than properly answering the issue. I am abandoning this unit and replacing it with a tester that doesn't communicate with IOS but is more reliable.
