  • Definitely worth it !

Had these for a few weeks now and they are by far the best in ears I've ever owned. My previous headphones were the Seinnheiser CX Had these for a few weeks now and they are by far the best in ears I've ever owned. My previous headphones were the Seinnheiser CX 880i and while those were fantastic ear phones, these just blow them out of the water.

The sound quality is impeccable with all ranges of sounds being powerfully played into your ear ! The lows, mids and highs all sound great not to mention they look good.
I've had no problems with comfort so far and they fit right in my ear. You can hardly feel them in your ears as they sit tight with no sign of falling out any time soon.

If you're looking for new earphones for 100 or less then I highly recommend these.

  • Fantastic, punch well above their weight!!

For £99 I can not recommend these enough. My old earphones were soundmagic P11, and for there price they were great, but the power For £99 I can not recommend these enough. My old earphones were soundmagic P11, and for there price they were great, but the powerjax are in a different league in terms of quality for price. Awesome sound throughout the lows, middles and highs and the bass sounds incredible. They fit perfectly in my ears, they are very comfortable, and do not fall out. The bottom section of the cable is made from Kevlar, so no tangles, unlike my old pair.

I would definitely recommend these, especially if anyone is looking for headphones under £100, and if I could, I would definitely like to see what the superdarts (older brother of the powerjax) have to offer.

It's early days yet, but so far I'm impressed with these.

Build quality is just extraordinary, as you'd expect from Atomic Flo It's early days yet, but so far I'm impressed with these.

Build quality is just extraordinary, as you'd expect from Atomic Floyd. I dropped mine onto a tiled floor, and was more concerned about damaging the tiles than the headphones !

Sound is what it's all about though - and these don't disappoint. I've moved from a pair of Klipsch S4i (which fell apart - be warned), and in comparison the PowerJax are brighter and less bassy. The Klipsch had to be shoved right down the ear canal to get a correct fit, whereas these sit in your outer ear, with the silicone just sealing the ear canal - this means they are very comfortable for extended periods, but still stay put when running, and offer pretty good (but not total) sound isolation.

I do find I'm missing a bit of bass punch, that that could just be adjusting my listening from the Klipsch - and I also expect these phones to bed in a bit with use. I did consider exchanging them for the HiDefDrum because those have a much better bass response, on paper at least. However, there are complaints about sound leakage with those - because they are open backed. The PowerJax are closed backed, and with a proper seal there seams to be very little or no sound leakage - important for me because I use mine in an office environment.

At this price I think they are a steal !

  • Atomic Floyd PowerJax + Remote

    1.0 out of 5 stars

Killed a set of wonderful Klipsch S4is and fancied a change. Floyd promise MiniDart quality for half the cost with these, they're Killed a set of wonderful Klipsch S4is and fancied a change. Floyd promise MiniDart quality for half the cost with these, they're fibbing.

Even after 10 hours burn-in, the sound of these is truly horrible. It's like being dragged ear first through the hardware aisle at B&Q. They strip music of any warmth and are genuinely painful at higher volumes.

Thank heavens for Apple's 2 week return policy as these will be going straight back to Covent Garden and being replaced by ..... another set of S4is

    Genuinely horrible earphones. Atomic avoid.

I struggle with these. Sound if great, build is great, but they keep falling out my ears as they're just too heavy. A shame, as I I struggle with these. Sound if great, build is great, but they keep falling out my ears as they're just too heavy. A shame, as I love the Atoms. I bought these as an emergency buy as forgot my atoms when going on holiday.
