Awesome speaker
I recently bought the orange Zooka from my local apple store and it has been an amazing purchase. The sound quality is great, it l ooks cool, and it has also has the neat feature of being a stand for your device while in use. I had no problems setting up the Zooka either. Pairing the speaker with my device was super easy and I was playing music within a minute of taking it out of the box.

Very Good and Functional
Having tried out the Jawbone Jambox, I was expecting something similar in terms of sound quality and overall these Zooka speakers do deliver similar sound quality. For speakerphone use, the Jambox has better overall functionality and ease of use. The high build quality and use of medical grade silicon on the speakers are nice bonus touches. Some misses preventing me from giving them a five star rating are: the supplied USB charging cable is about a few inches too short, preventing you from having the unit plugged in to the USB port and charging while mounted on top of you Macbook, these speakers are a bit on the heavy side (making the Macbook Air screen flop over unless you have them at exactly ninety degree angle), and finally no more GLOW in the dark color for sale to the general public (they were limited edition only). …

Just what I wanted
I wanted something that is portable, small and had decent sound, particularly for listening to tutorial videos on iPad. I have sp eaker hookups in several rooms and earphones but since I'm too lazy to go get them I was holding my iPad up to my ear to hear the tutorials. No more....i love this Zooka. Not only is it so convenient, it has awesome sound. Thank you for inventing this. It is fantastic and just what I wanted. Actually way more than I expected! …

Just ok...and not good for FaceTime
We got 3 for the company and we sent them back the same day. We wanted to use them for company meetings.
We tested them with FaceTime, and also iTunes for the sound.
--There is a delay and feedback and loss of speaker volume.
--The sound is ok but don't turn it up all the way up otherwise you will hear muffled/distorted sound...
--And on top of that, there is no much flexibility on the angles that you can set it up. Only two angles as far as we could tell.
--One last thing: The controls and ports are on the bottom of the unit.
Too expensive to have all those flaws. $40 should be the most they are worth (not $99!).

Any Apple computer - desktop or otherwise - that's Bluetooth-capable can connect to Zooka. MacBook a nd MBA screens are thin enough that the groove in the Zooka fits nicely on top, with the U-shaped cutout allowing you to use the built-in camera for Skype or FaceTime. …
