Reviews for Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic

i have had my earphones not even a year and the right earphone has got little sound coming out of it so i can hear anyone when on the phone.

And now nothing in my right ear.
Seems other people have the same experience. Great for a while then one half just stops working. This may just be a loose connection issue but Apple should investigate as it is a clear design problem. (Like the too small feet on the PowerBook adapter which damage the wire).
Nice pods otherwise - clear sound and very comfortable, even when lying down, and don't leave feeling that they're still in after removing. Anyone who says other people can hear your music has the volume too high for they're own hearing safety.

In the past, i have used Bose MIE2 and Bang and Olufsen earphones. Theese headphones cost around 5 times the cost of theese Apple headphones, and the sound in theese are ALMOST as good! For the price, theese are, without a doubt, the best product i ever tried!

Really like the shape and comfort of the headphones. The sound is really high quality and the low end on these are great for bass driven music. Really pleased

I cannot stand these headphones. The shape is all wrong. Im lazy and like to lay down. they DO NOT stay in! I've never thought I had weird ears before but with all these hundreds of people they tested them on vouching that they're better, its all I can conclude. Spend the extra £ and get the buds. So much better....although mine broke. Sob!

The sound from these earphones are amazing! Best earphones I have ever had and they fit very well in the ear. After leaving them in my pocket twice and them going through the washing machine, have proved that these headphones are very waterproof.

I have lose carry of how many iPhone ear pod that I have bought, it works for four to five months then one speaker stops working or both stop working. The only reason why I keep on buying the ear pod is because when it is working it is very good and that is why I have given it three stars.

In the pass I have got for a more cheaper one and it last longer,please fix this £26 is not cheap.

I was very uncertain weather or not to purchase these as i have bought 4 pairs of the previous generation earphones with all of them ending up breaking and no music playing in one of the in-ear plug. So i decided that this would be the final straw, I have to say i was quite impressed with how much the quality of the design has improved, the quality of the sound is alot more clear and crisp, doesn't distort as much when the volume is increased and it feels sooo much more comfortable in your ears, I dont get that ear ache after removing them from being in my ear for several hours. The insulation of them are not much improved even though the sounds going more direct into your ear canal. One major con i feel is that they still have not addressed the wire tangling issue, how hard is it to put a thick tangle free wire on your headphones, It would save so much time! Overall i am impressed but only choosing to give it 4 stars as the real test for me is durability as previous generations where lucky if you got a year out them, So far so good though!

As usual the packaging is first class! The design aesthetic is funky - nice to see that innovation is alive & well at Apple. The sound quality is impressive too, but you've got to find it by manipulating the earphones inside your earholes until they deliver & then hold the earphones in place with your fingers (not a good look).

The problem is, Apple, that one size does not fit all. To have to grapple with earphones while trying to hear what you're trying to listen to absorbs all your concentration & powers of co-ordination. If your earholes are narrow (mine are, it turns out) the shiny obtuse objects win the fight every time by sliding straight back out. Perseverance only brings frustration & sore earholes.
