    :(

I have updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5.0 and now on iOS 5.1.1 it still doesn't work. Before the update it worked very good. I always see the same sentence:"This accessory is not supported by iPad". I have this problem for a long time but now I decided to write a review. Apple, please make the software update to solve the problem, it will be better to do it before iOS 6.

    GET IT RIGHT APPLE!

I bought this camera connection kit so I could import videos from my camera to iMovie on my iPad 2. The videos are compatible, they show up in the photos app but when I go in iMovie they don't work! I rarely give low ratings especially on apple stuff but if you pay 25 quid for a piece of plastic you expect it to work as it should! Apple... Fix this please!

It does work, but you cant review Pics before Importing

I bought this so that I could plug in SD cards and review pictures on my ipad. Unfortunately although it does show thumbnails of the images from the card, the only way to actually view a full size version is to import them first.

This is a pain as you dont always want to import all images before seeing them full size and the image size can be quite large, quickly filling even a 64gb iPad up.

If it showed the full size image without importing, like many other products on the market it would be a great bit of kit, as it stands it's not ideal.

    Great Idea, but...

...Apple forgot to implement iCloud Photo Stream support. At least that's what the lady from Apple Care just confirmed to me. Photos imported straight to the iPad will not become available on your other iCloud enabled devices. Frankly, if I have to then connect my camera (or iPad) to my Mac again to sync them across here too, it seems like it's easier just to import via iPhoto or Aperture and then sync across that way. This will be returned asap.

Card reader doesn't work - USB works

    • Written by from VANTAA

SD-card reader didn't work at all. USB-connector worked OK with Sony A-350 and Cannon Ixus 850.

Amazing that so known brand sells two adapters iand only one is working. Perhaps this is the way to get double price.

    Ipad Camera Kit

    • Written by from Birmingham

Just got mine after waiting 3 weeks (July 2010). Disappointed really. It will easily take photos off my Sony T100 but I can't get it to import through the SD card adaptor so it's off to the Apple store for Tech advice. Also the device will not import jpgs from a memory stick nor will it take jpgs from my Blackberry Storm Just says Device not supported (for Blackberry, SD Card and Memory Stick). Therefore a bit overpriced for this accessory IMHO.
