this case is ok apart from that it is a tad 2 tight for the original 80gb ipod vide - i also think this case has worn its colour a bit after use (the blue one at least) and this case (i think) has scratches the ipods inner click wheel (the button) and the reflective back AND the outer ipod on the front. AAANNNDDD may i add they are well expensive. its ok tho...

Not Baaaad

They're a wicked idea, but would be better if they were also sold separately. I personally do not use all of them, and i know many people with the same situation. Also, they are perfect for ipods and ipod minis, but just a tad too big for the ipod nano. Awesome choice of colours though and they really jazz up the plain ipods.

I had an iPod mini and saw these very cool looking socks so i went and payed £27 for them i must have been mad!!!
Then a couple of months later i had an iPod nano put my nano in these cool looking socks(apparantly they would fit)but the socks are at least twice as big as your nano!! They also arent the best protection for any type of iPod's!! Dont waste your money!!!40 of 56 people found this useful

these are definately a cool way to keep your ipod safe just they obviously give no protection, so dont buy if thats what you want. looks-wise they are great just but out of the, i think, 5 colours i only really use the grey and blue so they are quite expensive if thats all you'd use. these can get stretched leaving you with 2 bad socks and 3left in the box that you wont use. the choice is yours

i bought a pack of ipod socks the other day, and i have to say im not really impressed at all .yes they look nice but as im a ipod video owner in the uk apple have no other cases or covers to choose from, and im left with these silly little socks to protect it. yes they stop scratches and it usefull in cleaning your ipod but £20!!!! apple??? you guys are usualy really good to us in the uk for getting your products over here within a few days to a couple of weeks from there us debut but i want some decent official covers or cases for the ipod video now..on the other side of the coin though these socks do fit over the ipod with the FM headphone adapter which is a plus.. 3 stars apple

Looks funky, but scratches pods with no protective film
Written by EJ from Cambridge

These little cotton/acrylic socks are sold as being compatible with all iPods, which, due to their stretchy nature they are. The 30Gb Video is a tight/snug fit, and I guess the Nano just sits inside the sock and doesn't stretch it very much.
They are wonderfully bright and give your pod a great retro look, but be warned - They scratched my brand spanking new Video pod, which didn't impress me at all, as I had brought them to protect the iPod from scratches in the first place.
My guess is that they wouldn't scratch a Nano nearly as much, as the nanos are obviously smaller, and hence the sock is not streched anywhere near as much.
However, if you have applied the Protective film stuff to your pod (brilliant so far on my replacement, non-scratched pod), I think they would serve their purpose well.2 of 2 people found this useful

Pod Sock
Written by EM from Newcastle

I bought these socks when i got my replacement ipod nano as i had found out too quickly with my first nano that they scratch quite badly and way too easily. I have been using my replacement ipod nano for about 1 1/2 months with my sock and it is still as scratch free as the day i got it. My only problem is that they are obviously way TOO EXPENSIVE and i only use one colour so they should be sold seperately!!!

My iPod Escapes The Socks
Written by PD from Kirkcaldy

I find the iPod Socks a great little cover for my ipod however my ipod does on the occasion slip out of it's cover. Now the front of the ipod is still scratch free however the back has seen better days. Great Product just wish there was a something to hold the iPod in better. Otherwise a great product just don't put it in your bag.

the ipod socks are pretty good let me tell you about a little expirience i've had......i was at school running late for class. i put my ipod in my blazer pocket.....i was running up th stairs when my blazer hit the stair ...when i got into class i checked it and it had a huge scracth so the ipod socks arent very good at protecting it. they dolook awsome though!
