I have had these since i bought my nano. It hasn't been scratched once, if you want to keep your ipod looking good buy these. They match your outfit and you can change them really quickly. BUY THEM!!!!!

They r well cool i got a set in the apple store costing £19. Later in the week my sister got exact same but without the apple tag (on the side) but made by Pineapple clothing! for only £5 (In the Sale). The iPod 1's r amzing they prevent scratches and keep your ipod warm in the winter! And come in so many funky colours green, purple, pink, grey, orange, aqua blue. One thing apple, £19, £19! For six knitted sock pouches!!!! Maybe cheaper.....

Great is all i can say, just a little over priced. £19 for 6 knitted socks is a bit much.
They are great as they save your ipod from getting scratched. They are also good for other things like phones. The variation of colors is great. They stretch nicely for my 30 gig video and fit my iPod mini quite nicely.
Overall a good buy, you paid lots for your shiney iPod so i think an extra £19 cant hurt that much, surely??

A great buy, ive got a lovely new shiny red nano and these are ideal (ok so some of the colours clash but who cares!) there almost a perfect fit, fair enough if you turned the sock upside down it would fall out but other wise great.

These socks are a brilliant idea! Not only is there 1 sock, there are 5 for such a great price. I love them, they just fit the ipod video perfectly, although there are afew girly covers in there....nevermind!

I think Apple have hit the spot with the socks. When i first heard of them i thought it was a ridiculous idea and a waste of money to be frank, but then i was playing with my friends one and i realised the advantages.
1) Your iPod gets protected
2) When you use your iPod, you still have the slick feeling of the shiny plastic in the palm of your hand, and its all nice and warm!

These socks are such a cool idea. They haven't scratched my nano once, if you don't wrap the headphones around the iPod before putting it into the sock then it scratches less still. People complain about how they don't protect your iPod like a silicone cover .. and the reason is because they are just a piece of fabric! You shouldn't be chucking your iPod about anyway! I have the red nano, so I don't use the pink and purple socks because they clash, so im gonna give them to my friend for christmas. If your listenin to your iPod while its in the sock, you have to put it in upside down so it fits in properly because the headphone cable sticks out but that isn't a problem because you'll be holding it the right way up when you take it out. It's also easy to take the iPod out of the sock. These socks look good and protect your iPod. Me = =). Socks = *****

When the socks were first realeased i though they were just a gimic but i fount out they are actually very good and can fit any ipod

i had read the review n some of the nano users had complained about them falling out, i tipped mine up n did it fall out? NO! what r these people talking about. the only thing is i wouldent try fitting a normal ipod in it it is more for nano's ore mini's because the stretch in it would not be suitable for the original ipods. Great buy!!!

i have found that the socks are great because they really do protect your ipod, mine used to be all scratched but when i used a sock with my new ipod it has lasted much longer! i love the colours but you can easily see them so there is a chance that they could be taken, but they are very funky and i would love it even more if they brought new colours out and you had the oppertunity to pick out your own colours.

They're a wicked idea, but would be better if they were also sold separately. I personally do not use all of them, and i know many people with the same situation. Also, they are perfect for ipods and ipod minis, but just a tad too big for the ipod nano. Awesome choice of colours though and they really jazz up the plain ipods.

After being given these socks as a present from a friend i discovered that they aren't just good looking but help against scratching my perfectly polished ipod aswell.

My favourite colour is the pink one, and after about a week of it travelling to school with me it turned a slight grey colour. So, slightly daringly i popped it in the wash (on a low temperature delicate wash) and ended up with a sock that looked brand new!

i bought these iPod socks because i thought it may stop the emense scratching on my photo iPod, and it did! there is a bit of a squeeze to get the iPod in, but once it's in, then you dont want to take them out again.

I use them in the car so i can just put it on my knee and not worry about them slipping off onto the floor.

however, £19 for a set of cotton sleeves, and i wont even use the grey, purple, or pink ones :(...

Yes they maybe a bit overpriced, but you could always sell the colours you don't want, as someone is bound to be after a specific colour. As for protection, it stops the iPod from being scratched when it's in your pocket, however what else do people expect from a sock!?
