A little beauty, but has slight niggle.

I've got this product minus the dock part. It's £80 for just the case. To be honest I would never have bought a case for my iphone - no point hiding such a beautiful phone!!! However I received the case as a present and I love it - it looks good and hardly adds to the bulk or weight. Also the cover extends over the front of your phone ever so slightly, meaning you can put it face down and not scratch it - not that you would do such a thing!
I do have to take it out of the case though - if using headphones. I hate the standard iphone headset (they just fall out of our ears)- i use sennheiser earbuds and i can't plug them in with the case on. Nor my big Sony headphones I use around the house.... So something to think of - I you hate the iphone headphones too and want to use your own, you might find you can only plug them in by removing the case. For £80, you might find this annoying, especially if you use your headphones every day.

Wanted something a little different than the normal plastic cases, and this delivers! Looks great, feels lovely in the hand and just screams cool. Bose headphones fit fine with the cover on and I have had no real problems with any of the controls through the cover.
Only drawback is the need to remove the bottom part of the cover when placing it in a dock, the normal Apple wire fits in through the hole cut in the wood though.

For craftsmanship and looks absolutely nothing comes close. It's a thing of beauty and receives many oohs and ahhs from geeks to scenesters to fashionistas... but it is nigh on useless as a protective case. As the review below sums up, no matter how careful you are with your iPhone it will slip through your fingers every once in a while. The Miniot cases will eventually break, and chances are they'll take your phone with them. I've discovered this the hard way twice over and as gorgeous as they are (and almost worth the expense for that reason alone) there won't be a third time. You've been warned! …More

I will keep it short. If you want something that looks good and is NOT functional this product is for you. If you want something to protect your phone that will last then PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. Everything I was skeptical about happened. It lost its locking connection between the top and bottom pieces after two months. The bottom part where the charging input is cracked and broke. I am not a very tough iPhone user and thought that fact would keep this product in good shape. Not the case after 2 months it is relatively useless. Very mad I made this relatively expensive purchase and hope you do not make the same mistake. …More

Beautiful looking case. Unfortunately after owning it for only three weeks it fell from around 2 foot onto a lino floor and cracked right through. The sort of knock my cheap plastic case withstands without any problem at all. I think it's rather improbable that a case for a mobile device such as an iphone will never be subjected to a fall/knock and as such cannot recommend the product which is a shame as it did look great.
