Not great...

I really wanted to like these headphones, but they just don't stay put when running. As soon as they are dislodged the sound becomes tinny, this means continually repositioning them. Irritating and not ideal. …More

These earphones are best avoided. The sound quality is dreadful, very tinny! The fit is pretty good and they stay in place but to be honest after 10 minutes you wish they'd fall out and stay out! …More

Sony Active MDR-AS50G Headphones
Very Poor Sound Quality
Written by MD from Selby

I already have two pairs of Apple headphones which were included with previous Ipod Shuffle and Nano purchases. I decided to purchase these Sony headphones because of their claim that they would be comfortable and stay in place while I was washing the car. What a disappointment! I assumed that great sound quality would be standard with Sony. Boy, was I wrong! They are certainly very comfortable (for me) and stay in place but the sound quality and volume are very, very, very poor. What a waste of money! I have now reverted to my Apple headphones and they are a delight compared to this very inferior Sony product. I did, however, salvage the Sony lapel clip and I'm using this on my Apple headphones so all is not lost! …More

Sony Active MDR-AS50G Headphones
these really dont deserve the above reviews

I've got a pair of these headphones, and while I can see how they might not fit great on a small head, they fit mine fine, I'm a 6'2 bloke though.
I've had them for about 6 months and not had a problem with them, they even have a catch on the cord to stop it wiggling around while running which if used properly stops them from coming loose and avoids the tinny sound problem referred to.
if you're an average sized guy, then these are just great. …More6 of 8 people found this useful
