Use the Apple Wireless Keyboard on your desk, on your lap, or anywhere within 30 feet of your Mac or iPad — all because of its built-in Bluetooth technology. Its compact design takes up 24 per cent less space on your desktop than full-sized keyboards, so you have extra room to move the keyboard around and mouse comfortably beside it. You’ll also feel a difference when you type on its low-profile, anodised, aluminium enclosure with crisp, responsive keys. Use the function keys for one-touch access to a variety of Mac features such as screen brightness, volume, eject, play/pause, Mission Control, and Launchpad.
The Apple Wireless Keyboard requires just two AA batteries - one less than the previous model. And its intelligent power-management system conserves battery life. So when you’re not using the keyboard, it powers down automatically. The instant you start typing, it turns on again. Use the on/off switch when you're away from your computer for a long time.

Not a Bad Bit of Kit
Got this about 2 months ago and am very pleased with it. Its small sleek design is very nice to look at and typing on the keyboard Got this about 2 months ago and am very pleased with it. Its small sleek design is very nice to look at and typing on the keyboard is a pleasure requiring the lease amount of effort when compared to other bog standard keyboards you get with some PC Keyboards.
I have the Wired keyboard and the Wireless keyboard (one for office and one for home). When compared against one another the keys on the Wireless are a little more stiff but not to the point that it is annoying. The Wireless does not come with a USB hub like the Wired but to be honest I never really use it so I don't really miss it. It doesn't come with a Num pad either but again I never really use it when I have it.
Since I have had it I have not needed to change the batteries, this is probable due to the power down feature on the keyboard when your not using it, but it only takes a second to wake up when you press a key. I would consider myself a "Power User" and use my computer all day every day and was quite surprised I didn't have to change the batteries yet.
If you need an Apple keyboard get this one, you won't miss the USB Hub, the batteries in it last for ages. It's quite neat and tidy so if you stuck for space on your desk this is the best option. …

Not worth it
I'm very disappointed with this device. I got this along with a brand new iMac and it really lets the side down. Basically Apple h I'm very disappointed with this device. I got this along with a brand new iMac and it really lets the side down. Basically Apple have put design above functionality and for daily users this is a real bind. I waited over a month after getting this to see if I'd get used to it, but sadly no, its PANTS. I'm sad to say there are better keyboards than this.
Way too small. I find I make loads of typos using the small keys and find I have to go back and re type. Its knocked my productivity on the head and I've now replaced with a third party keyboard.
No delete key !! Come on Apple 'What on Earth are you doing here ? '. This is unacceptable to expect users to press two keys to do the same as we did before with one key. I hope you listen to this for the next keyboard.
Not up to the same standard as the rest of my Apple products.
Its wireless and the wireless works well.

@ button in the wrong place
its all very well having this nice design and finish, but @ is in the wrong place and there is no delete button, which grinds my g its all very well having this nice design and finish, but @ is in the wrong place and there is no delete button, which grinds my gears. After a few months of having it, I just want the extended version but its too long (and I havent looked into where @ is). Cant they just condense this one down so it includes all the extra buttons and fits in my clique dock. Having they keys half the size wouldn't bother me int the slightest. …

I like it, but......
I would love to give this 5 stars because it looks great and it paired up with my ipad air, iphone 4s and apple TV no problem. The I would love to give this 5 stars because it looks great and it paired up with my ipad air, iphone 4s and apple TV no problem. The only thing that lets it down for me is that sometimes it will repeat the 1st character you press on the keyboard, usually when it's 1st switched on or when going to a different web site. It's a bit frustrating to have to be mindful of this as well as typing. Other than that, any shortcuts I have saved to my ipad work with the keyboard which I like as I'm not the fastest at typing. Hope this review helps …

All round, A great "little" keyboard!
Again, a great piece of technology... Stylish, Fast, and I use the word "little"... Firstly, it looks great. Its aluminium housing Again, a great piece of technology... Stylish, Fast, and I use the word "little"... Firstly, it looks great. Its aluminium housing fits in with all apple computers and notebooks, but still looks good with any computer. It has precision cut edges giving it a reel feel of quality. The keys are a perfect size, feel soft to the touch but strong enough for heavy use. The letter/numbers etc are sort of clear to see, I say sort of because they are quiet difficult to see when in a low light environment which brings me to my only negative point which I will explain below. They are also in a perfect layout, not too close together while not to far apart, leaving ugly empty spaces, which you find on many keyboard today, so it doesn't make you hands/wrists ache after a long time typing as all the keys are at an easy reach! White is where the word little come in, As the keys are placed and arrange they way they are, apple have been able to keep the keyboard small, making it fit onto almost any environment and again keep it looking stylish. As for fast, it connects almost instantly and I have yet to see it buffering/lagging when typing. Battery life I have yet to discover as I have only had the keyboard for 2 weeks. But many other reviews say it last a good amount of time before batteries need replacing. I now come onto my only negative point, which I would say is quite a big one... Backlight... This keyboard would really benefit from a backlight, as seen on the MacBooks... Yes, it would greatly shorten the battery life, but apple could give the keyboard some form of a rechargeable battery that you can recharge by usb for example... But, this aside, its a great "little" keyboard!
No Backlight …
