    Does the job!

    • Written by from Leamington Spa

Purchased this to support my mouse and keyboard and it works really well. Yet again, after reading the reviews on this product, there are lots of mixed reviews but so far it has worked really well and the charge is holding good for a mouse and keyboard that get used daily for a few hours at a time.

Impressed with the battery life, only complaint is the lack of availability of additional batteries.

    Will not charge other batteries

    • Written by from Milton Keynes

Very nice looking product but will not charge other branded batteries I have, even though they are apparently compatible, so maybe not a good buy if you have other rechargeable batteries that you want to use. You can't even buy the apple batteries separately !!

    Great stuff,really love it

    • Written by from swinford

Works perfectly! Great looking piece of equipment. Batteries have a good life, never had any problem with it. And people let your charger work until green light goes off before you put your batteries in use. This will solve your issues with not fully charged batteries and short usage time with it

Saves you money on buying new batteries every month or so but...

    • Written by from Chester-le-Street

Had this kit since December 9th 2011. I use it to power my apple trackpad and keyboard. I get on average about 7 to 8 weeks usage per charge on my trackpad and one day short of 20 weeks on my keyboard.

However at this rate it will take 110 weeks for this kit to have paid for itself(that is buying Engerizer pack of 8 AA batteries at £5 each). That is 2 years and 6 weeks and that doesn't include the cost of charging up the batteries. That also assumes that I will continue to get the same amount of use per charge through out. Will I still get 7 to 8 weeks charge on my trackpad after 14 recharge cycles? Remember for my £25 I could have bought 40 Engerizer batteries.

    OMG.. so bad..!!

    • Written by from Aalborg

    Not worth a whole lot..

Allmost brand new and even after a full charge the gage only reads 80 %.
After 1 hour in a magic mouse the charge is at 58 %.

Worst product ever bought through Apple - save your money and get a generic brand from anywhere.

    Excellent but...

    • Written by from Beckenham

My first one had to go back to Apple as it was as dead. The replacement has been really good and shows up as 100% charged when in my trackpad and mouse. However, My apple keyboard takes three batteries, my trackpad takes two and so does my mouse. This makes seven! If apple sold extra batteries it would be much better and get 5*.

    seriously impressed

    • Written by from Worksop

I bought this to go with my iMac and too be so impressed with such a simple product I feel speaks volumes about it!

I use the batteries in my Magic mouse and they've gone over a month between charges at what i'd call heavy moderate usage.

Besides the batteries your also getting a very neat little charger that matches all the other products.

Yes it may be slightly expensive for a battery charger but I feel it is worth the little extra as:

    a. You KNOW your getting high quality components
    b. The product is much more handsome than most battery chargers I've seen
    c. It goes very well with other apple wall plugs and charger and doesn't look intrusive or out of place at all!

    highly recommend!

    Small charger, works as advertised

    • Written by from Leigh

I picked up one of these chargers yesterday and i'm very happy with it. Its small and compact and works as advertised.

I've only charged 4 of the 6 included batteries so far, each set I left in the charger until the light went out (not once it's turned green) that took approximately 6-7hrs. One set for my Magic Mouse, the other for the wireless keyboard. My Mac reports that both have a 100% charge. So for those reporting that they don't charge fully I would suggest leaving them charging until the light goes out, they must still need a top up trickle charge even after the charge indicator shows green.

The Charger does not charge the batteries fully

    • Written by from Woodmansey

I bought the Apple Charger with its batteries thinking that this would be the end of making sure I had enough new batteries available for my Apple keyboard, my Apple magic mouse and my Apple Trackpad but the Apple charger only charges the batteries at the most 64%. I have had this for a month now, the thought that the Apple Batteries would " wear in " and charge to a higher rate has not happened and I seem to be changing these batteries in each device more than once a week. It is regrettable but I am going back to buying non- rechargeable new batteries as they last at least a month and I don't have to fiddle about changing and constantly checking the Apple rechargeable batteries with the Apple charger. Is anyone else having the same trouble with these.

    AMAZING!!!!!!

    • Written by from bath

I love the battery charger! I got it as a gift from a friend, and is is brill! the only thing is that you cannot buy extra battery's, it comes with 6 though so it is enough for me as I have the magic mouse and wireless keyboard. Also if the green light comes on then leave it a bit longer because it will not be fully charged.

    Hope this helps!

Useful and convenient for travel recordings

    • Written by from TAMPERE

These rechargeable size AA Ni-MH-batteries are labeled as min. 1900 mAh 1.2V HR6 text. It took about an hour to fully charge a pair of them.

A pair of these rechargeables powered my Olympus LS-10 Linear PCM Recorder for a recording time of about 10 hours. This is about as much as the internal memory of the recorder can handle, when recording .mp3 320 kbps sound.

With two pairs of rechargeables I´ll be able to record everything during one day if necessary.

The charger is very illustrative. You can see immediately how to position the batteries in it. It is as small as it can conveniently be. Very useful during my travels.

    Makes me wonder.

    • Written by from Tampere

So this was pretty cheap and I thought why not buy it. One thing just makes me really wonder, I can't get any of the batteries to hold more than ~80% of power. I mean shouldn't it go all the way up? The last of the bunch only got up to 63% and my Magic Mouse has (magically) used over 10% of that in a day! They were in my closet for two weeks, the first bunch lasted that long. I'd buy more reliable batteries.

Does exactly what it says on the box!

    • Written by from Stoney Stanton

Superb little piece of kit to go with any iMac. Expertly charges superb little batteries in apple style. Loving your work Apple. I paid £25 for these at the Apple Store so a bit peeved they are now £1.50 cheaper. Other than that a superb addition to my growing range of Apple products. Apple for world domination!!!!!!!

    Beautiful compact design

    • Written by from Chester

The first thing that strikes you is the beautiful compact design of the Apple Charger unlike other cumbersome chargers on general sale.

One reviewer had a slight grumble about the price but having priced other chargers and packs of batteries, thought it a fair price as it will pay for itself fairly quickly. Especially, when considering the cost of replacing non-rechargeable batteries over time.

It was easy to put the component sections together and sits neatly in the wall socket. Dad was impressed with its overall design and quality of build, liked the fact there are no springs in the battery section as usually found in chargers.

As a newcomer to Apple having just bought an iMac have not had a chance to really test the durability of battery charge but like any rechargeable product this takes a few recharges to kick in properly.

I would recommend this product to others, especially if space is an issue.
