    Clean

    great design BUT after two weeks the cover is really dirty and I cannot get it clean. Go for black !!!!!

    Love it!

    It is an excellent product. Lightweight, flexible, smart looking and it allows you to safely shove your i-pad in your bag (very important ladies).
    Had mine for a few months and it still looks like new. I use it every day.

    The leather washes quite well

    I bought this in cream and it got wet and left large water marks but I rewet it and pressed it with white paper towel, all the marks disappeared. Then got some food stains on it at a party and I washed it off with water then did the pressing with paper towel until dryish to avoid water marks, and guess what all the marks came out. I also used a piece of sticky tape to remove fine lint stuck to it that I couldn't lift with my finger nail. I realised that helped to revitalise the nap of the leather as well, so all in all, like anything else, yes it gets dirty but it's really easy to clean. You do have to look after it. I cover it with an ipad sock before sliding it in my bag. The cream cover looks great with the white ipad. Just get a speck smartshell to go with it.

    You Got it so wrong with this one apple

    So I get my pad 2 days after the lornch.... Big day... All white all new... Cover white leather, following the falling of my camera I am now on 2 of pad 2. Now I must admit by getting white leather over time I would end up with that old loved book look... No no no I just got dirty white, still works just fine but looks like ......... And what's with the magnetic strips ! Leves black grassy deposits on the underside. Bad move Apple you should give the new covers in compensation !

    Don't buy in Cream

    My wife brought me an iPad 2 for my birthday along with a nice cream leather cover, the iPad is the dogs alas the same can't be said for the cover, I grant you it's good in as much as it powers down the iPad when you close the cover, but boy it gets sooooo dirty so fast, I have had mine since last August, and to be honest its fit for the bin, I would die of embarrassment should I need to take it out of the house. Do your self a favour DO NOT BUY CREAM! if I do get another leather cover it will be BLACK

    Smart cover cream leather

    Delivered with ipad3 on day it came out.
    Looks and feels high quality.
    Needs someone to produce a high quality pouch like capellino to give protection to the back as well.
    My daughter managed to drizzle olive oil on it last weekend which left a dreadful black stain which I thought had ruined it, but after googling oil stains in leather got it out using talc without much bother.
    For me leather gets better with age if you treat it with respect
    Unfortunately I've been seduced by the great beauty and function of Apple products and somehow for me the ipad3 needed a special cover. Bought iPad 1 day it came out, didn't upgrade last year as I wanted better resolution and boy has this delivered.

    Nice case, shame about the marks

    I read the other reviews and thought that my case wouldn't get marks on it that quick seeing as I wouldn't be using it that often. Wrong! I took it out of the box and even though I had only cleaned my hands about 5 minutes before there was a smudge on the cover within 3 mins. 10 minutes later it was back in it's box waiting to be returned.

    I have ordered a light grey Polyurethane one instead, one that I can clean without getting that sinking feeling you get when you realise you just ruined something that cost you £59

    Not worth the price

    I bought this because of the way it was advertised as useful to th iPad. It has changed colour from cream to a mucky kind of brown. Though magnetic, It too easily detaches itself. It leaves lines on the screen which you constantly have to clean. If there were third party ones, I would have tried them out. They would be cheaper and maybe, just maybe perform satisfactorily.

    I'm so disappointed with this product.
    I don't think its the colour but more the choice of leather.
    I've had light grey leather seats in my car and 4 kids, 3 years on and they still look like new. This iPad smart cover, three weeks on and it looks like i've eaten my dinner off it.
    I'm not a messy, untidy person, this thing just attracts dirt and grease. And what ever you do don't try and clean it off. Tried to take it back and they looked at me like they feared they may catch something off the cover.
