Plug and protect

Drobo's "plug and play" configuration means it arrives ready to go with 4TB of storage (4 x 1TB Seagate HDD), with no need for management or configuration. Back up and store your data quickly via the high-speed USB 2.0 interface or two FireWire 800 ports with no additional software required.

The four 3.5" SATA I or SATA II hard drives can be removed and additional drives added as a higher capacity becomes available. Start with 4TB then upsize for more and more capacity as you need it.

Maximum capacity

You can mix and match different capacity drives in Drobo at any time. Choose your brand or speed. No downtime, data migration or waiting to access new capacity - Drobo works the way you do.
