If you intend to charge two iPods or iPhones of the same type, you cant as supplied.
Griffin will sell you another iPhone 3G universal dock adaptor for a very reasonable $1.99 however by the time you add postage to the UK the price is $69.45. So it looks like I will need to get a apple 3G universal dock adaptor £11.29 (or £6 without delivery).
Other than the above, looks nice, is heavy enough not slip off your desk, charges stuff as you would expect. …More94 of 111 people found this useful

This is a great piece of equipment to have, ideal for putting on the side board or desk and charging your iPhone and iPod in a hurry!
That's all it does though, charge your iPod and iPhone, granted it's only a PowerDock so, it's doing what it was built to do, but this product would be so much better if it had a USB connection so you could sync your iPod or iPhone with your computer instead of only having a power socket to charge them.
It comes with an American socket adaptor too which makes it ideal for taking away with you!

Perfect for charging any kind of iPod/iPhone

This multi charger makes it possible to charge ANY of your iPod/iPhones devices.
Contrary to somer other reviews this model can actually charge any 2 devices of the same type at once!
You only have to decide when popping in the included plastic holsters which devices you want to use. For example, there is two iPhone holsters meaning that only two iPhones can be charged simultaniously. However, the holsters only support the shape of the device - but in reality you don't need them. If your're in the need of charging 2 iPods at once or your need is changing all the time you could simply avoid using the supporting plastic holsters. It will charge just as well anyway as the male connecter is the same for all the Apple devices. Therefore using the charge ports as is gives you the oppertunity to charge any kind of Apple device (but without the elegant support, of course) as the plasticholsters actually prevents you of charging any device that is smaller/bigger than it was designed for.
The 8 included plastic holsters won't satisfy every users need - but in that case leave one or both of the charge ports without the holster. Note, it is extremely difficult to change/remove the holsters after they have been inserted into the charger! …More6 of 7 people found this useful
