Overview

The addition of a new friend is guaranteed to enrich the daily lives of your Sims! Not only will you have the opportunity to choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but you will also be able to personally design their new friend with the Create-a-Pet feature.
Choose your Sims’ pet’s body shape, unique markings, even the pet’s personality! With so many different animals to choose from, there’s no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur!

Key Features:

  • Your Sims Have Pets – Add dogs, cats, birds, or guinea pigs to your Sims family. Whether it’s kids cuddling kittens, adults watching TV with a drowsy Calico, or elders spending a sunny day in the park with their faithful German Shepherd, your Sims will share a lifetime of special moments with their pets.
  • Create Pets – Choose from dozens of dog and cat breeds including Pug and Persian. Or, create your own unique cat or dog by modifying its body type, face shape, fur color, markings, and more. Then pick a personality! Is your Boxer gifted or goofy, your Burmese hyper or lazy?
  • Pets Have Genetics – Cross different breeds to create designer pets or make new ones and register them to appear in Create-A-Family as a unique breed.
  • Sit, Spike, Sit – Your Sims can teach their pets tricks like shake, fetch, roll over, and more. Unruly pets might topple the trash or scratch the sofa, but Sims can change their pets’ ways with the right training.
  • Pets Have Jobs – Skilled pets can have careers of their own and earn a living as Movie Stars, Rescue pets, or members of an elite Security Pet Corps.

Great expansion for The Sims 2!

In my opinion, this is one of the best expansions for 'The Sims 2'. You can now create cats and dogs to join your sim family, hugely customizable beyond just choosing a breed. You can choose the colour of their paws, whether their tails are short or long, fluffy or thin.

Once you have a pet, you can find it a job the same way you do for a sim, and then teach it tricks to help the pet to advance in it's chosen career. You can also breed cats and dogs, so they create kittens and puppies! The pets also grow older, and do eventually die.

Great expansion pack, well worth the money, adds many types of pets, plus items for your new pet to enjoy! For example, beds, bowls, litter trays, pet styled mats, floor tiles and much more! Very recommended.

    Just Pets

This "expansion pack" is really just the total opposite of a stuff pack, it has hardly any new objects but hundreds of new interactions and new playable characters.

Making Fido is as easy and customisable as making Mr Smith and the pets integreate with all the other expansion packs exceedingly well, for example if you have Open For Business you can sell Pets in your stores etc.

The cats and dogs you create are not controllable without cheats and must be trained which adds a new "level" to the game whereas parrots and womrats (guinee pigs) are just like fish and are bought in their respective cages and must be fed and played with.

A must for any Sims collector!

If you are not 13 this game is not for you.I think that it is for people who are mature there are too many things that have bad talk and sexual behaver. If you like sims get the regular one unless you are over 13.that's all I have to say about the game. More
