- The remote and mic are supported by all models of iPod, iPhone and iPad (not all models support volume up/down functions). Audio is supported by all iPod models.
- Requires software version 1.0.3 for iPod nano (4th generation), 2.0.1 for iPod classic (120GB) and 2.2 or later for iPod touch (2nd generation).

Well worth the purchase
I have been looking to buy a new set of headphones for a while, however, couldn't justify spending £100+.
This evening I decide d to buy a set of EarPods from my local Apple Store. The quality of the sound as good, if not better than some of the professional headphones I have tried over the last month.

Amazing but Noisy
I tried them today when my friend's iPhone 5 arrived. They do sound truly wonderful, but anyone around you will also hear what you are listening to and that is unacceptable in a public place like a bus, tube or train...shame. …

Please can we have the old style ones back!
For those of us with small ears, these are a retrograde step. The old classic earbuds were perfect, but these just hurt the ears.

Excellent
After a week or two of thinking these were uncomfortable my ears appears to have got used to them. I use them for extended periods - I even fall asleep using them. They don't fall out, they don't hurt my ears, they sound just fine and the mic is a godsend.
