Ignore the Rest
Cannot stand the people who mindlessly criticise these headphones. Sure they're expensive, but you pay for what you get- although the noise cancellation isn't as good as Bose, the sound quality more than makes up for it. Rich bass that keeps up with all of my music from hip hop to classical. Cannot imagine using in-ears after having owned a pair of these. Try it and see what I mean. …

Great But Not for iPhone Due to Interference Caused by Lack of Shielding
I purchased these to use with my iPhone while commuting.
They are great for listening to music at home but when travelling pick u p the radio signals of other peoples phones nearby (even if yours in airplane mode). This is a real disappointment as I assumed for nearly £300 they would be shielded.
Recommend if you are going to spend this sort of money on headphones that you test them while someone stands next to you and makes a mobile call. …- Written by Jason W from Reigate

Shocking sound isolation...!
Thank goodness these were a gift because if i had actually paid almost £300 id be gutted, The Bose over ears i already own are a b etter, crisper sound, and they don't need batteries, above all the sound insulation is way better, When using the Beats every one in the room can clearly hear what your listening to. I definitely wouldn't advise these for public transport. Beats would definitely appear to be style over substance. …

great sound, interference, shoddy build
I've had mine for a while now. The sound is excellent, as it should be,
however, they do pick up a load of interference if you'r e listening to them with an iphone. It's really a problem.
Also, all the little black screws that hold them together are now falling out of mine, and of course, they're so small that you don't see that they're coming loose until their gone. …- Written by mark H from colchester

Although stated to control the volume, and being 3 button the control cable supplied is like the normal tap, tap-tap job supplied. Volume control is not available. …
