Apple Recommends For

Couples, partners and roommates with different wake up schedules or anyone who simply wants to improve their sleep health.

With LARK you can experience a better wake up and train yourself to better sleep.

Wake up silently and in a natural feeling way

Instead of a blaring alarm LARK uses touch to wake you up silently and effectively—while letting your partner sleep. Designed with a Harvard sleep expert, LARK's wristband is wirelessly connected via Bluetooth to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and delivers gentle yet incredibly effective rolling vibrations to your wrist.

See that third of your life you never knew about

A powerful sleep pattern sensor collects information on how well you sleep each night. Based on the same actigraphy technology that has been the gold standard for sleep researchers for the last two decades, the sensor wirelessly sends your sleep patterns to your LARK Up app. The moment you turn off the alarm, LARK UP app shows you how you slept, how long it took you to fall asleep, how many times you woke up and much more.

Improve with your personal sleep dashboard

You can train yourself to sleep better. Learn how and track your sleep info on your personal online dashboard, free at www.LARK.com. The LARK UP app is a free download from the App Store in iTunes.

Highlights

  • Patent-pending technology nudges only you awake with vibration
  • Actigraphy sleep pattern sensor tracks thousands of micro-movement data points during the night
  • Mobile app and personal online dashboard show how you slept
  • Bluetooth wireless technology works with your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad
  • Sleek cradle charges your phone and your wristband
  • Soft wristband feels like wrist pyjamas
  • Composer-created audio back-up in the app ensures you'll wake up, even if you take the wristband off in your sleep
  • Sure-thing wristband goes off no matter whether your iOS device is on

Did You Notice?

The sleep pattern sensor tracks thousands of micro-movements during the night and then shows how you slept.

    Great product

Purchased this in the Apple Store in Manchester. There is something so nice about not being woken up by an audible alarm. I feel so much better right away after waking up. The only negative I can say is that it still wakes my partner up in bed as the vibration can be felt through the mattress, if its touching it.

The app is great. Ive only used it for a few nights but the sleep monitoring is cool and helpful. It highlights that while I aim to get 7-8 of sleep a night I wake up and average of 5 times per night, meaning i get closer to 6 hours. I am changing my habits to take this into account.

    The built quality is great.

The is an interesting product, I originally used Wakemate however after my experience with Lark I am now happy with Wakemate again.

I have had the lark system since 30/06/2012 and have been upload anything to the Lark servers, since they are USA based then can only respond when they are awake.

Lark does now work in the UK as MyLark is down everyday day, for the entire day in the UK :(

    Half a trick pony....

I have to agree with Lee C....
I had high hopes for the LARK.... purchased it from across the pond as I was so eager to try it out.....
Extremely disappointed.... although the concept is exciting.... the lark dive bombed.... The battery lasts one night.... on the odd occasion it lasted less than that..... even after it had charged all day.... I did not see reason for the oversized dock.... It looked awkward with the iphone sitting in it and the cable spiralling from the back of the dock to the iphone.... looked untidy..... the wrist device was would be better suited with a sweatband with sewn in pocket rather than the cheap looking strap with loop sewn in... I was conscious I was wearing it all night... was not exactly comfortable.... a sweatband combination would delete the sharp edge of the strap on your skin....

The vibrating motor is supposed to alternate it's pattern so it wakes you up.... that was noisy... so it could wake up your partner too....
The online monitoring..... was basic... leads you into purchasing the enhanced online version... but from the initial experience of the LARK.... that stopped me from investigating the potential any further...
It is a first generation product.... that said.... the Jawbone Up (1st generation) was better at waking you up... while it lasted.... My search continues for a device, that does what this promises....
