What is an AppleID?
An Apple Account/AppleID account lets you personalise your Apple on-line experience. Once you have created an Apple Account/AppleID account you will use it to access those Apple online resources which require you to identify yourself.
With your Apple Account/AppleID account you can access your Apple Store order history and our Self Service website.
Your Apple Account/Apple ID account is also used for iPhoto and iTunes.

How to create an AppleID account?
To create an AppleID account and password, click here. Enter your e-mail address, which becomes your AppleID account username, and all of the other required fields.

Can I have more than one AppleID account?
Yes, but it is not recommended as you will not be able to view your complete order history under the same AppleID account. Please note, AppleID accounts can not be merged.

Can I delete my AppleID account?
AppleID accounts cannot be deleted, it is recommended you remove all personal information from your AppleID profile instead.

I forgot my AppleID account password.
Follow the instructions on the iForgot web site password. Your sign-in information will be sent to the email address you chose for your AppleID account. Alternatively you can answer the password recovery question you set when you created your account.
For security reasons, Apple cannot reset the password for you.

AppleID and MobileMe/.Mac accounts.
If you created a Full or Trial MobileMe/.Mac account, your account Name (name@me.com or name@mac.com) is also an AppleID account. You can use the same login and password for both MobileMe/.Mac services and for the Apple Store, however if you wish you can still continue to use any previously created AppleIDs.
If you want to use the trial MobileMe/.Mac account name after it has been expired, you need to change your preferred Email address in order to continue to receive order related emails from Apple.

How do I change my AppleID account details?
It is easy to change your user name, password, or billing information. Just click on “Account” at the top of any Apple Store page and sign in. Once signed in, you can review and edit your personal information. Alternatively you can visit http://myinfo.apple.com to modify your Apple ID account.
Note: You will not be able to change your credit card information if you have 1-Click turned on -
