Overview
JAMBOX by Jawbone is the smallest, best-sounding wireless speaker and speakerphone around. Just place it anywhere in a room and enjoy pristine streaming audio from your phone, computer or other Bluetooth devices. Bring music, movies and all your mobile audio vibrantly to life—all in the palm of your hand.
Big sound in a small package
With an output capacity of 85 decibels, JAMBOX fills even the largest rooms with stellar hi-fi sound. Unlike other portable speakers, JAMBOX is powered by a pair of proprietary, highly sophisticated acoustic drivers that produce extreme high (twitter) and low (woofer) frequencies from an ultra-small dome speaker. They work in concert with an innovative moving-wall passive bass radiator and airtight enclosure to deliver shimmering highs and thumping lows that you can literally feel.
It only gets better
JAMBOX is the only speaker that gets smarter every time you plug it in. Just sync it with Jawbone's industry-first MyTALK online platform to download apps, software upgrades and more. JAMBOX will always be up to date.
Go anywhere and go wireless
You get the freedom to bring pristine wireless audio to whatever you're doing, wherever you want. Carry it from room to room or just throw it in your bag. No more cords, docks or hassles.
Conference on the go
With a powerful, built-in microphone, JAMBOX frees you to share crisp, clean-sounding conference calls anywhere—in the office, car, at home, alone or with a group. It's also perfect for sharing video chats via iChat, Skype and more.
It's all in the details
JAMBOX looks and feels as striking as it sounds. But with its stainless steel construction and industrial-weight moulded rubber casing, it's not just a pretty package—it's a sturdy, portable, and meticulously crafted machine that's built to blast.

A Good Product but Overpriced
This certainly is a quality product but be sure of your purpose before buying. This little box while outputting good quality sound , it is not going to replace a Hi-Fi or a decent iPod Dock.
If your looking for something to travel with or use as a handy portable around the house then great, you will get good use but if it is your main source of music look elsewhere, cause this thing ain't no party room filler for sure.
I would have liked to have seen this product around the £99 mark, for me it would have been better value for money and elevated the review to 5-stars.
Great service at the Apple Store though. …- Written by Andy B from SUNDERLAND

A great little product, highly recommended.
I have used this device for a couple on months now and find it incredibly easy to use and useful. It is a great addition to have w ith an ipad especially , but I also use it with my phone when travelling. The sound is suprisingly good from a unit so small . The bluetooth range is good and for instance is great when using a radio app say or ipod app, you can move the speaker from room to room in the morning listen to the internet radio and leave your ipad on the table. I find it especially good when using BBC iplayer the sound is excellent in that situation.
It is rather expensive ( but isn't everything to do with Apple!) but if I compare it to a small dab radio or my older altec lansing travel speakers it is not so far out. In a fact a friend recently bought a small dab radio for the kitchen , but now wishes they had bought one of these to use with their ipod touch instead. …- Written by Geoffrey H from Oundle

Good but not great & not great value
I was looking for something small and rechargeable, ideally with AirPlay too. It hits the first 2 criteria. Lovely build quality a nd opulent packaging but the sound is only average. This is to be expected for something of this size, but don't be taken in by the packaging - this is ok for travel or maybe for taking your music into another room but in no way can be your only speaker system. And it isnt as yet AirPlay compatible either - it streams over bluetooth but all you can control from it is the volume. Expensive too; worth maybe half its price tag. …

Whenever you are traveling
Good sound, small footprint and absolutely cool. When at home I use it for primarily hand free phone calls, when traveling it is m y mobile sound system. I heartily ever use in room facilities my iPad, iPhone or Macbook Air does it together with my little JAMBOX. …

Quality
Awesome piece of kit. Bought it as a wireless speaker for my iPad to play decent sound from TV shows while I work and it hasnt let me down. For such a small speaker, the quality is sublime, probably worth the money but it doesn't hurt to shop around for a cheaper deal.
P.S. just read a review saying that it wouldn't pair with a macbook thus rendering it useless... just to say... its not actually compatible with MacBooks... if you read the item description carefully (like any sane person does when shelling out £159).. you will notice that it is made for mobile devices... i.e. iPhone/iPad/iPod. …- Written by Simon E from Billingshurst

Jambox won't pair!
We have 2 Macbooks (OS X 10.5.8). I bought the Jambox as a birthday present for my partner. He is a music enthusiast with over 13 000 music tracks stored on his Macbook. I bought him the Jambox because of his interest. It won't pair with either of our Macbooks. It will however pair with the iPad, which although gives a good sound, is absolutely pointless for us as you can't store a high volume of mp3s on an iPad. Can't believe this item is sold through the Apple store with this fault. I really don't know or care whether it's Apple or Jawbone at fault, I'm left with a piece of kit that doesn't work as promised. You don't have a landmark birthday every year and this put a damper on the day. …
