Sennheiser HD 218 Headphones
Most comfortable!
Written by AD

Now here is something you don't see everyday. This headphone fits easy and sounds really, really, really good and I didn't spend $200!! WOW! I'm not an audiophile, but my husband is and he recommended Sennheiser to me. Despite not being their top offering my husband was very impressed with the sound quality, as was I. They are pillow soft and block out noise well. There is no discomfort. I am very picky about fit and this satisfies the pickiest. The cup thingees rotate and the cable seems tough. These are great for every use. 5 stars! I'm thinking about buying these as a gift for my mom for mothers day as well.

Sennheiser HD 218 Headphones
Honest Review
Written by SD from Cary

I am a a very picky shopper and I value money to quality ratio, and these are a perfect buy. They are around 60$, and for that price you will get a very good sound quality and comfort level. The ear cups are adjustable so you can rotate them close to your ear for an excellent feel and sound. I have read alot of reviews about Sennheiser and usually people are raving about the quality. I am very satisfied with the sound quality, its not increadble but for 60$ its the best Ive heard. I recently returned the Bose over ear headphones because of the comfort level, the sound quality was o.k, I cant believe that these sound better, especially due to Bose sticker price at 139$. Everyone has different preferences but these are a good value. …More

Awesome Headphones!!!

These headphones are one word: great!!! They sound excellent. (I am very picky about sound quality and have owned headphones by scullcandy, bose and apple). They are the best ones for the money. They are a nice value. I recently broke my first pair (I use them almost everyday and sometimes I don't take the best care of them) and I sent them in to the company, Sennheiser bacause they were broken and they sent me back a brand new pair in less than a week! …More

Great sound, comfort, and value!

These headphones have excellent sound quality and comfort. The bass may be a bit light for me, but for rock or easy listening these headphones are hard to beat. These are my go to phones and, in my opinion, rival portapros for sound quality. …More

Sennheiser HD 218 Headphones
Sennheiser makes better
Written by AT from Newark

I was looking for better headphones than what I was using. This was my first try. I was using Sennheiser PX100 and wanted a little more. For $10 less the PX100's are much better than these. The HD218 sounds very muddy. Sound quality was very poor in all dimensions. For less money look into the PX100. For much better the HD238 which I bought. …More

Does anyone know how these stand up to running/working out? I'm concerned they'll slip off/flop around my ears. Thoughts?

Working out won't be a problem but jogging may be. Remember that the majority of regular headphones will not work great while jogging because they may slip. The sports headphones/earphones usually clip on around your ear to prevent from falling, but do not sound anything like these. In addition if you sweat on these ear-pads (plush cloth with leather) you won't be very happy. However I intend to do some working out in them :) Just not jogging. …More

Yes they do work if you mean just for music or movies. If there are any other features you require from headphones, i'm sure this will work. The headphones themselves are quite good lots of bass decent quality but, for the money there are better sounding headphones out there. …More
