    Great new keyboard

Apple has another hit on their hands and is definitely on a roll. I replaced my original apple keyboard with the new one for my Mac Pro since the original did not have a crisp enough key stroke...it seemed "mushy" sometimes...but now....amazing! More

    Apple New Wired Keyboard

Written by SG from Foothill Ranch

Hooked up the new keyboard today and its is a real site to behold. Very thin and lite weight. The new key design has a great feel and very large keys so you don't make many mistakes.

THE ONE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS the two usb ports will not support an ipod. I have the video Ipod and I get a warning that the USB power is too low to power the attached device. I bought this key board to clear away clutter on my desk and hopefully eliminate a few cords. Unfortunately its not true and I was disappointed. I am very much an apple fan but the low USB ports were a not as advertised on the website.

    AMAZING...but....

Well, on the OS X side this is the best keyboard I've ever had. Took a little while to get the feel of it, but now it's second-nature. Once problem...Boot Camp. This little baby uses Function keys for audio up and down and brightness, and Vista really didn't like it. Sadly, I'm going to have to keep using my old keyboard until they update BootCamp to work with this new keyboard. That's why I'm only giving three stars. Otherwise, it'd be a full FIVE, baby!

Did not last beyond warranty period

I got this keyboard with the iMac I bought. I do not type much on it because I am not home very often. I do not eat, drink or smoke in front of the computer. Then after a year and 2 or 3 weeks the 'v' key started to require hard pressing in order to get the 'v' on the screen. Now being a fix-all-you-can type IT guy, I tried to open it to try to clean it. You cannot, unless you break the keyboard. Big disappointment, a disposable keyboard at a not-disposable price. More

    Nice Keyboard

    Written by SS from longmont

This keyboard is not just nice but really functional. It is a typical Mac keyboard where the keys are just slightly closer so your fingers don't travel as far like with traditional keyboards. Soft touch, so you don't have to pound on the keys like the older Mac keyboard. Keys are still white and they get a little discolored, but I just unplug the keyboard and hit it with a degreaser and it is bright white again. All around a great keyboard. More

I personally have been using this keyboard since its release. I used the very clunky previous version of Apple's keyboard, and I was VERY used to its format. This very thin model did take me about 1-2 weeks to get used to. Now that I have used this model for a few years, I CANNOT use any other keyboard. The thinness really improves your typing speed by quite a lot. (The keys press down 1mm instead of the clunky 6-7mm of the original) So little effort is required to type, you'll actually FLY across the keyboard! I would personally recommend a switch to this from any keyboard, PC or Mac. More
