    Terrible Cover

    Bought two of these covers (one for me and one for my partner). We hate them. The cover keeps slipping open and draining the battery. The cover is difficult to fold and use as a stand - either it sits at too low an angle or too straight up and down and falls over. Worst apple product I've ever purchased.

    This product is rubbish, doesn't do what it says and caused my iPad to smash and apple won't fix it !!!!

    I am so disgusted with how easily this cover comes detached. I can't hold the iPad by this when I'm reading or typing, because my iPad will drop & hit the floor. I won't get one of these for my mini... Will wait for the SmartCASE. Those are excellent! (they completely encase the iPad securely. )

    Magnets come loose and iPad goes to the floor - CRACK!!! Apple sells an expensive repair. DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!

    Cover separates out from ipad unexpectedly. Resulted in the ipad falling and crashing to the floor and is now broken. Wish I had purchased a real cover than this clever gimmick.

    I just about dropped my new iPad today when the cover shifted slightly in my hands and the magnets unlatched themselves right away. After playing with the cover a bit more I realized that this is not as good a cover as the first cover built for the iPad 1. Instead this style of cover lures the user into thinking you are doing the right thing to protect your iPad, but if you are a power type user with it you will find that this case gets in the way and you end up removing it when reading a book or cruising the internet.

    I really liked my old iPad 1 folio style case and have searched the web to find a replacement like it. That style slide the iPad into a sleeve to hold it in place and had a nice cover to protect the screen. If i didn't get this one dirty right away i would be sending it back too

    I have never been disappointed with an apple product, and we have many in our home. However, this cover is a total disappointment! I was expecting something that truly protected the $700 I just spent to purchase the ipad2. To cover? Only the front of the ipad. To protect? NO WAY! Why would apple not produce something to truly protect this product? Sorely disappointed! I wouldn't recommend this product. Go and get something that will truly protect your ipad, because this won't!

    Caution Smart Cover Disconnects Without Warning

    While carrying the new iPad with the Smart Cover, the magnetic hinge disconnected without warning causing the iPad to hit the floor, and resulted in multiple cracks in the screen. Fixing the screen isn't possible. Do not recommend buying this cover.

    I purchase a new polyurethane green smart cover for my IPAD2 today. It is not worth the 45 plus tax price tag. It is flimsy and does give the protection I would have liked to have. Personally, the fact that you can use the cover as a stand is a joke. I can't wait to return it to the store tomorrow.

    The design is cool and innovative, but the side is starting to wear out and there are scuff marks on the place where it is put on
