    Stop working after 1 month

    I purchased an iHealth Labs wireless blood pressure monitor (arm cuff) from Apple about a month ago, on February 2 2013. The cuff will not inflate anymore during the testing process and, instead, the app on my iPad reports "Error: Unable to detect measurements caused by arm/wrist movement".
    - I've held down the start/stop button on the unit, and started it up again, to no avail.
    - I've recharged the unit, to ensure the battery was fully charged (the app reports it is 100% charged), to no avail.
    As an experiment, I plugged the unit into my computer's USB port and ran a blood pressure test -- the cuff inflated and it recorded my blood pressure. But that's not exactly wireless, is it?
    Since the 14-day return period is over, I'm exchanging it for a new (hopefully working) unit from the manufacturer.

    I would not recommend this product.

    Doesn't Work - Bluetooth Never Connects!

    I really, really wanted to love this… After four days of trying, opening support tickets, having multiple telephone calls with the iHealth tech support team, sending in screen shots from my iPhone, I couldn't get the device to connect to my iPhone… ever!

    I use bluetooth for a variety of devices and trackers that link directly with my iPhone, my desktop or my laptop. I've never had any issues with any other bluetooth device that weren't easily fixable (new batteries, etc.). This just wouldn't work.

    I track my blood pressure very closely for health reasons, and I was very hopeful that this could be a helpful solution. I think it would be IF IT WORKED!!

    The tech support people were nice, but not helpful. They said they had never had this issue before. Not sure I buy that, based on other reviews on the site.

    I'm returning it!

    Proper,.. and easy to use device

    first device that measures the right without triggering ischemic
    accurate readings - very accurate
    are easy to use app
    nice way to keep record ..
    even looks good !

    1 star minus for - some times, breaking Bluetooth connection .

    Still - pretty perfect !

    STOP WORKING DAY ONE

    i only used it twice and then it stop working. All i get is "ERROR Unable to detect measurements caused by am/wrist movement" (NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM NOT MOVING) I checked I health website but there is nothing there. this is going back this weekend to APPLE. I really wanted this to work. :-(

    Disappointed

    Like one of the other reviewers, I had great hopes for this product. I had some minor loss of communications problems, but this was not a show stopper. However, right of the box, the readings seemed to be high. I ran a number of comparisons with my doctor's machine, and found the systolic typically 20 mm higher on the iHealth unit. I then moved to the local pharmacy, and in thi s case saw about a 10mm difference. The bottom line is I have no faith in the readings being recorded on this machine, so have sent it back. If there's one thing calculated to raise your blood pressure, it's looking at readings that are 20 mm too high!

    The app was a bit flaky, and only appears to graph the first reading in any given day, and there is no provision for exporting to a spreadsheet, but this again was not a showstopper, as the readings can be entered in Excel manually.

    To their credit, Apple were very efficient about processing the return.

    I wonder how long it will take somebody else to come out with a Bluetooth unit?

    Works but frustrating start

    Bought this for my husband to track his blood pressure. It was extremely frustrating to get to connect with his iPhone 4S. After about 20 failed tries, I emailed iHealth support and received a response in 10 minutes. The directions they provided were clear and easy to follow and most importantly, fixed the problem. Very pleased with customer support.

    Hardly ever works

    It's a great idea and I really wish that it did work, but it doesn't. It only works maybe one out of ten times I try and use it. Lately I haven't been able to get it to work at all.

    My story is the same as the other unhappy customers. It worked just fine until the date when it could no longer be returned. Very disappointing!

    Don't waste your time with this junk. Bought it, charged it, downloaded the app, and that was as far as I got. It would not connect with the iPhone, no matter what I tried. I'm returning it tomorrow.
