Directly compared to the Apple BT keyboard (aug 2011). I am used to typing on the latter.
Out of the box, the iEagle seems as sturdy as a 1980's G.I.Joe snow vehicle: so-so. I unfold it, and (with slight difficulty) slide the locking latch, and set it on the desk. This keyboard is not canted. The (2 included) AAA batteries pop into a top mounted compartment in the left. Table-top typing is not optimal b/c of it being flat, though rubber nubs keep it from sliding. I turn the keyboard on via another slider, it pairs flawlessly with my iPad. I prepare to increase the brightness on my iPad; whoops, no buttons for this(!). Undaunted, I begin typing, keyboard in my lap this time. I keep hitting the wrong keys, as the outermost ones are small. The keyboard bends slightly in my lap, it is not rigid enough for this. It still can fold in half and slide nicely into the included neoprene pouch, VERY cool and small. It still has a slide out iPhone cradle, pretty useless for the iPad (Hippih makes a separate iPad stand, etc). It is $100. Folding form factor cannot make up for 1. Lack of brightness buttons 2. Flimsy locked position 3. Difficulty of locking mechanism 4. Lack of canted position for tabletop typing. Hippih has some new stuff coming out which I may consider, but this keyboard is already returned...stay on target!

I'm on the go all the time, so this keyboard is what I needed to stay productive. It's so nice to have a wireless keyboard that can connect to ALL my devices!

Just got this keyboard - it is great. Fits in my purse with my I-pad. No more lugging the laptop on short business trips.

I love this wireless keyboard! I have heard many people say it is great for business trips, but not only that! I take it with me when I go to a friends house! It's easier that way! I'm so use to typing on a keyboard that HiPPiH made everything easier! PLus it fits in my purse! I have to admit it isn't the sturdiest but on a hard surface its perfect. I also use it at home when my family is using the MacBook. This wireless keyboard is awesome for more than just business trips! Thanks HiPPiH creators!

I bought this to use with my iPhone so I didn't have to lug my laptop with me on weekend trips.

I love everything about it except the keyboard layout. The right shift key is not only less than half the size of my MacBook Pro keyboard, it sits right next to the up arrow---a major design flaw. Every time I attempt to hit the shift key while typing, I instead hit the up arrow.

The whole purpose of buying this keyboard was to be able to type emails faster on my iPhone. Instead, it slows me down because I wind up having too make too many corrections.

I'm back to tapping out messages on my iPhone.

...if you want to use your iPad to write emails/create content. This is a good solid piece of kit. JMHO

Nice tactile response, and greatly enhances my typing efficiency. I like the iPod controls, and the battery life exceeded my expectations. Solid, well-designed product.

Unfortunately, I am not one who is able to adapt so easily to a differently formatted keyboard. While a keyboard like this would provide ultimate portability, I found it too difficult to use.
The G and the B key are smaller than normal, while the H and the V key are larger. I understand that due to the folding design it had to be this way, but it gets very annoying very fast. Combine that with the minuscule delete key (and a second one where the ctrl key usually is; another annoying design) makes for a very difficult and tiring typing session.
But in the end, it's not the manufacturer's fault; it's simply impossible to create a portable keyboard that'll be as comfortable as a regular keyboard.

In the end, I just carry around the Apple bluetooth keyboard. It's not that much heavier (half a pound maybe) and there are VERY few situations where I don't have a bag that's too small for the keyboard. While the thought of pulling out my iPhone and a portable keyboard from my pockets discretely and start typing away is pretty awesome, the technology's just not there yet.

In conclusion; if you want to get serious work done when you're out and about, just get a full-sized keyboard (Apple bluetooth keyboard). I doubt people would find it that much harder to carry an extra 0.5 pounds, and I seriously doubt (other than purses of course, but even then) that people carry bags that cannot fit the Apple bluetooth keyboard.
