It depends on how serious of a gamer you are. If you really want the best for gaming then look for a wired gaming mouse. If your just a casual gamer then yes this is a decent mouse, not the best but defiantly up there.

Best AnswerLaser tracking engine.
Magic Mouse features a laser tracking engine that’s far more sensitive and responsive on more surfaces than traditional optical technology. That means it can track with precision on nearly every surface with no mousepad required.- Answered by Mikol F from Ontario

Can I use the magic mouse and Apple wireless keyboard with Apple TV?
- Asked by Minh D from San Francisco
- 3-Jul-2011
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerNo you cant - i am very annoyed about it. Apple make a device for wirelessly browsing photo's, music, movies, netflix etc on your tv and then limit the user interface experience to a out of date basic remote control when there's so much more possible with the multi-touch track pack pad/mouse. what a shock.

Will the Magic Mouse detect my finger gestures when I wear thin cotton gloves?
I've found that when I wear thin cotton spa-type gloves, the trackpad on the Macbook Air doesn't register my finger gestures. I'm concerned that I might have the same problem with the surface of the Magic Mouse. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Is this moue good for games like Minecraft???
I need a mouse that is good for minecraft, is this the mouse for me???
- Asked by Galadriel W from Nakusp
- 14-Jan-2012

Best AnswerNo.
I LOVE my iMac, the mouse as a whole is fantastic and compliments the OS completely, great for Photoshop, working, reading and browsing, but that's not the question.
Minecraft? it's horrible, its constantly swapping items without you realising, as you side swipe to switch instead of scroll, that's the only issue, but its very frustrating.
I'm a BIG Minecraft player and a big mac user, but i'd recommend a gaming mouse- Answered by Steven R from Perth

is it possible to return/exchange the mighty mouse that came with my computer if using it causes me chronic wrist/hand pain?
Many users (particularly on Mac forums, but even in the reviews of the mouse) are complaining that the design isn't very ergonomic. From using the one that came with my new iMac (purchased January 2013), I've found that I'm experiencing chronic pains in my wrist and hand, often hours or days after I've stopped using it... say on a weekend off from the office or something along those lines. I'm wondering if there is an official Apple policy to address this problem. Is it possible to exchange the mighty mouse for a track pad or a different mouse solution? I definitely cannot go on using what I've got now.

How do you right click on the new magic mouse?
- Asked by Bronwyn M from Pella
- 3-Dec-2012
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerIn system preferences, under mouse, you can specify which side of the mouse you want to be secondary click (to allow for left vs right handed people). The mouse is sensitive to which side you are clicking on so you can click like you would on a traditional, 2 button mouse.
