I work in the music ministry at my local church. They recently purchased Logic Studio. I wanted to know how many workstations are they are legally allowed to install the software on?

Best AnswerYes, there are a few plug-in options for pitch correction. Not quite the detail of commercial plug-ins, but you have options for setting a key sig., bypassing individual pitches, setting attack and release rates. You can go from the well-known 'Cher' sound to barely noticeable and everywhere in between.
I prefer to automate my pitch correction so it only starts to work when I really need bang on pitches and for this, the bundled plug-in is well capable.- Answered by Keith L

AnswerSimply put, no. Logic (with the content) is almost 50gb plus plugins and other 3rd party content. It is also very high profile for processor and memory consumption. The ipad could not handle Logic, which is why apply could not release it on the iPad.

AnswerIt shouldn't as you are upgrading not doing a full install, so only those items being upgraded or that do not already exist on your machine, will be installed.

Best AnswerIf its the same as Logic 7 and 8 , you can install on two computers, but only run one instance of it at a time on a network.
A lost cause? I sure hope not.
I would encourage you to start out youngsters and newbies on Garageband. You could devise some easy and fun curriculum, perhaps even created by all of the potential users, and require a test of some sort or a final mix approval rating / scoring system which would allow users to move up to Logic.
GarageBand is an excellent starting platform for new DAW users and integrates seamlessly with Logic. Keep it fun.- Answered by Edward K from Hanapepe

Best AnswerYes you can. Just use an SE Electronics USB Microphone which is excellent and it's so easy to set up, just plug it in and it automatically hooks up to Logic. The sound quality is brilliant and the SE Electronics USB2200a is used by many pro studios

Best AnswerThere's no direct support for VSTs in Logic. But you can load VSTs into Plogue Bidule, an AudioUnit that can be loaded as a software instrument or effect in Logic, or run in stand-alone mode via. Rewire. There's another benefit to doing this in that Bidule allows you to access the midi ports on your VST instruments and effects.

AnswerLogic has DAE support but neither the 002, nor the 003 are Pro Tools HD hardware. Nevertheless, they both work with Logic using Digidesign's CoreAudio driver.

AnswerLogic will work for electronic music. It will work for practically any music.

Can I change my voice from a Man to a Woman in real time?
I am looking for a program that can change my voice in real time from a man to a woman. Will this program do that or are there any programs for the Macintosh that can do that? I play a game on the internet and I know there are programs that do this for the PCs but none so far for Macs.

AnswerLogic will certainly do that. Tho a bit of overkill. I believe this is possible by inserting into the track Voc Transformer and Pitch Shifter. This I used frugally to fake harmonies satisfactorily.

Can I plug a keyboard into my Mac and have whatever I play be written into sheet music?
Im thinking about purchasing Logic or Finale 2010. I'm a composer and ultimately I would like to purchase Logic. I'm looking to plug in my keyboard and have whatever I play be written into Manuscript instead of having to go in and write it all out, is that possible on Logic?
