how about re-sizing the canvas to match standard size for prints?
I don't want to crop the image; I want to size the canvas, adding white borders if necessary, so that the image matches a standard printing size, such as 8x10. Otherwise, the lab will crop it when stamping the print.

Will Aperture 2 "flip" digital images?
I'm imported some 35mm slides into iPhoto. Unfortunately, I scanned some of the photos backwards (mirror image). I need to be able to correct their orientation. Will Aperture 2 do this for me? Or better yet, will iPhoto do this task? Thanks!

Is this the best thing to use for editing pictures? Or would I just need a more basic or advanced thing such as photoshop?
I do a lot of editing on pictures, but i want to have a more advanced appeal to them. I have my own layout site for myspace, and the pictures that some people edit with are really something, and I know that they all use photoshop. Would this give me the same effect?
