Does the clear case appear silver or white ? (I really want white)

I really loved the old white MacBooks so now I come to buy one am am gutted they only do silver as I feel it looks like every other laptop so wanted to know if this case makes the MacBook appear white? Thanks

    The clear case is exactly that - clear - see through. Nothing white about the clear case.
