Can I daisy chain a Mini DP display from this drive?

So, I have my MacBook Pro, this drive, then (Using the second thunderbolt port) a Mini DP to VGA display?

    Yes you can. I use the 2TB version of that drive with an Apple Monitor. I did have some flickering issues that were resolved by applying a firmware update for the monitor.
