I do not have a DSL, will the 1TB time capsule do the same job or will I have to buy the AirPort Extreme Base Station too?

    The Time Capsule is basically a Extreme Base Station with an internal Hard Drive.

  • You do not have a DSL,,,,,,,,,What?,,,, No DSL Modem? No DSL service but CABLE modem? Ya left us hang'en there.......

    The Time Capsule needs to have either a DSL modem or Cable modem connected to it in order to access the internet.

    The Time Capsule takes the place of the Airport extreme.

    I think the Time Capsule should be called the Most Extreme Base Station my self......
