"Some ISPs are not currently compatible with AirPort Extreme", which are these?
I am currently with Taltalk is this ISP compatable?

All ISP are compatible however you will need a separate modem for ADSL connections. For TalkTalk if you were given an ADSL modem with an Ethernet port, you shouldn't need to buy anything else. If you were given a modem that only uses a USB port, then you will have to purchase something like a Netgear DG834G.
