How long is this cable?
Is that image of this cable just photoshopped, or is it actually just 3 inches or so? Please tell me it's really at least a few feet...

The answer is unfortunately in the product title, its an adaptor, not a cable. You use an existing cable, similar to the Mac display adaptors...

The fact of the matter is that it only needs to be a few inches. You will either need a monitor cable or a gender bender anyway.
