Will this remote work on the new white uni-body Macbook (2009)?

    Don't listen. It DOES NOT work with the new unibody MacBooks. It is true that it it used to work with all MacBooks, but the unibody MacBook took the infrared port out. I have 5 in my school. It has nothing to do with the remote being shipped, it is about the port that is not there.

  • Yes, it does. I've tested it on my friend's. All MacBooks come with the IR Receiver on the front, Apple just stopped including the Remote as a standard equipment accessory.
