AirPort Extreme Base Station

I have a multifunction printer. How do I scan and fax over Airport Extreme?

My printer works fine as a printer with Airport Extreme - but I cannot seem to be able to scan or fax.

  • The printer itself has to be capable to doing that across the network. Some models can only print across the network and not scan and fax. Those would have to have a USB connection to scan and fax.

    If your printer is capable, it normally comes with software you would use to accomplish this.
