Is there audio support for old MacBook Pros?
I have both an older MacBook Pro 13" and an old Mac Pro which both have the Mini Display port connector, but were prior to the connection carrying audio. The 24" monitor offered USB audio, but it looks like this model has no audio support for those Macs. Is that correct?

Answer
Yes, but the audio would be carried through the USB connector (part of the three tailed cord that's included). Unless you have a new Mac, there is no possible way to get audio through the MiniDisplay port connector (on older models). The *standard* of MDP supports audio, but Apple disabled it on those older models. That's what I have too (late '08 MBP), so I can live with getting audio via USB. :)

Yes, if they run 10.6.4 there is no problem.
