Can this keyboard be plugged into a laptop whose keyboard isn't working?
A glass of tea was spilled on our laptop. The laptop works, but won't type most letters from the keyboard. I was wondering if we could
use an external keyboard?

I have not tried this, but it would seem that when you plug in your external keyboard (or connect your wireless one), that you laptop would then recognize the external device. I think the same would apply for the track pad/mouse combination. If your track pad didn't work, you could plug in an external mouse.
