Do I need to switch the mouse off whenever I switch off or put my iMac to sleep?

Does the magic mouse have an automatic sleep mode of sorts?

    You do not need to turn the mouse on and off when you allow your iMac to sleep or turn it off. The mouse itself will just sit there, but it does use the battery a little bit. You can turn it on and off as you please when you turn the computer on and off, but the battery life is pretty good, so just leaving it on should not be a problem.
