can I use my microsoft wireless mouse with my mac pro laptop.

    For the most part, yes.

    As long as it is Bluetooth or has a USB wireless adapter, it should be compatible with any Mac.

    I've used PC/Windows USB wired and wireless adaptered (my word) mice with my Macs off and on for the last 10 or 11 years.

    Of course, your mileage may vary.
