  • Yes, it has a small power switch on the bottom just like the wireless mighty mouse did. And it seems much thinner and less bulbous than the mighty mouse (or any normal mouse for that matter) so I would think it would fit quite nicely in a laptop bag.
    I hope this helps!

  • Yes. It has a power switch on the bottom. This is taken from Apple's website:

"And because Magic Mouse is wireless, it can venture beyond the confines of your desk. A quick flick of the on/off switch helps conserve battery power while Magic Mouse is tucked in your bag. Even when it’s on, Magic Mouse manages power efficiently, by detecting periods of inactivity automatically."

  • Yes - there is a small master on/off switch on the bottom. Otherwise, it goes to sleep when you're not using it. The directions say if you aren't using it for a long time, to turn it off.

  • Yes the Apple Magic mouse does have a Power switch as will as a Blinking "Connecting/Link" light which is located right above the Power on/off switch

as far as portability it is excellent I personally recommend keeping the Box that the Magic Mouse comes in if you do not wish for your magic mouse to be scratched during your traveling and what have you
