    No. As noted in the product info, the MacBook Air SuperDrive is compatible ONLY with the MacBook Air and the new Mac Mini Server.

  • NO. MacBook Air and Mac Mini Server only. Due to the way the drive is powered from the computer, only these two work with it.

    ...shame, I know. As if you want a second drive for other Mac laptops or iMacs (or even separate Windows machines), you have to use a third party manufacturers one instead, as only the MacPro takes more than one optical drive at the same time.
