If this Superdrive is plugged into a third party powered USB Hub connected to the Mac will it work with other Macs?

If it can provide +5 VDC on 1,000 milliamps ON EVERY SINGLE PORT (check the tech-specs of the USB hub), it might. The SuperDrive was built to be connected straight to the MacBook Air or Mac Mini Server, so it might, or might not, work.
