Answer
I have used my nano on a watchband on my wrist for four days now. I have watched it very closely. I have even counted my steps and counted uncalled for steps. I walked around my block ten times. Each time around the block I counted my steps, roughly 500 steps. The nano counted between 350-370 for each time around. I have also noticed that certain activities while seated will garner a few steps, but this not occur all that often. I figure it may all average out in the end.

Yes, all features of the nano will work on the watchband. The watchband is just a facilitator and will not impede on any of the nano's features.
